Mojoh Gear is a new disc golf brand that invented a disc golf bag tripod riser. They reached out to me while they were in their prototype stages. I assisted Mojoh Gear with branding, package design, website design, crowd funding strategy, posters, and advertising. With my suggestions they made adjustments to the prototype design so that it was more modular so it could be attached to a variety of disc golf bags easily.
I also advised to run the crowd funding campaign on our own platform (www.mojohgear.com) instead of using popular options like Kickstarter or Indiegogo. Mojoh Gear met their $60,000 funding goal within our 3 month timeline and they raised a total of $80,000 in total pre-orders before the first orders where shipped.

We cater to the younger disc golf pro who is constantly on the move, preferring to carry their bag rather than utilizing carts. For these individuals, ease of movement is paramount, making our disc golf bag risers an essential accessory.
Tailored with the female disc golf fanatic in mind, our offerings address the specific discomfort of having one's back get dirty from bags resting on the ground.
After Discovery & Research, I take the words we used to describe the brand and convert them into images. I try to make each unique to give the client enough to make a decision on the direction of design going forward.
The Logo Mark (the star) is designed to symbolize the spark of joy you receive when enjoying what you love to do. The 6 pointed star is created using 3 M shaped points, referencing the original products 3 legs that helped start Mojoh Gear. The line separating the letters and the star represent the energy that our products create in our customers, radiating out.
The incorporation of the "M" in Mojoh involves skillfully adapting the line from our star logo. Aligning the angles in both the star and the "M" not only establishes a visual continuity but also imparts a sense of shared lineage, unifying the two shapes with a cohesive design language.

To reinforce Mojoh Gear's brand identity as a symbol of "innovation" and "engineered excellence," I sought to introduce an illustration style inspired by product sketches and architectural drawings. This distinctive illustration approach, coupled with our bespoke Architectype typeface, serves to firmly establish Mojoh Gear as a brand synonymous with meticulous research, strategic planning, and precision engineering.
